THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT IS CURRENTLY OFFERING THE 2- DOSE MODERNA VACCINE AS WELL AS THE 1-DOSE JOHNSON & JOHNSON (JANSSEN) VACCINE TO ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 17. THE PFIZER VACCINE IS AVAILABLE TO ANYONE AGE 16-17 WITH LEGAL GUARDIAN ACCOMPANIMENT. THE PFIZER VACCINE WILL SOON BE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN AGE 12-15.
NOTE: ALL FIRST DOSE COVID-19 VACCINES WILL BE HELD BY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME BLOCKS AT THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. YOU MAY REGISTER ONLINE AT CCHDIL.ORG OR YOU MAY ALSO CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT AT (217) 824-4113 EXT 122 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT WILL CONTACT YOU AFTER REGISTERING TO SCHEDULE A TIME BLOCK.

In addition to signing up on this request list, you will still need to bring a completed and signed Vaccine Administration Record of Authorization to a 1st-dose clinic. You can obtain those forms by downloading from below or at any Casey's in Christian County or the Ayerco in Edinburg.
There is no need to arrive earlier than the time given when notified by the health department. Everyone scheduled and contacted for a given clinic WILL receive a vaccination. Arriving outside of your scheduled time block will only congest the process.
